This week's weekly update brought news of a new Intensive English program in Virginia that is deliberately scheduled around the month of July for international students to attend during the summer break.  That is very convenient for those who could benefit from an intensive program during the U.S. summer.

There is a July 1st deadline for a great scholarship specifically designated for international students.  The scholarship is to attend North Central Missouri College.  This community college is in a safe and rural environment in the state of Missouri.  It has 1554 students, and offers degrees of Associates of Arts, Associates of Science, and degrees that will allow you to transfer to a four year undergraduate university.  For the transfer, you would spend two years to complete a Bachelor's in Science/Arts.  At North Central Missouri College, you would spend your first two years in the United States studying for an Associate's in Science/Arts.
